Premier League preview: Arsenal host Manchester United, as City face Sunderland

Arsenal have the chance to return to the top of the Premier League on Wednesday as they host Manchester United.
With Chelsea dropping points at West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday night, they could surrender top spot having only gained it at the weekend.
Arsenal will go back to the summit if they win, but Manchester City could also rise to the summit if the Gunners drop points and they beat Sunderland.
But all eyes this evening will be fixed on the Emirates, as both Arsenal and United look to bounce back after a disappointing weekend.
Arsenal were humbled 5-1 at Liverpool on Saturday in their worst defeat of the campaign so far, whilst United were held to a 2-2 draw by Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday.

David Moyes has never ever won at a top-four side as manager, and he will need to break that duck to get Uniteds' much-maligned campaign back on track.
Should Moyes and his men get something from their trip to north London, then that will open the door for their neighbours Man City to go top.
City entertain Sunderland in a dress rehearsal of the Capital One Cup final which takes place at Wembley on March 2.
Despite Sunderland being embroiled in the relegation battle, they are one of the few teams that can boast a clean sheet against City this season, following their 1-0 win over Manuel Pellegrini's side at the Stadium of Light in November.

The battle for fourth will also be very much in the spotlight on Wednesday evening, with Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham all in action.
Liverpool are in possession of fourth place at the moment and they will look to maintain their three-point gap to Spurs as they travel to the capital to face bottom-of-the-table Fuham.
Brendan Rodgers' men have not lost in the league since late December and Fulham - despite their draw last time out against United - know they face a tough task keeping the Reds at bay. After 25 league games, Liverpool and Fulham, in terms of goal difference, are separated by a massive 64 goals which is a clear indication of the seasons both are currently having.

Tottenham climbed into fifth with a 1-0 victory over Everton at the weekend, and they will look to maintain their good run on Tyneside as they face ninth-placed Newcastle United.
The Magpies themselves are just four points off seventh spot, despite a poor run of form which has seen them win just once in seven games. Spurs, though, will have to put right a poor run of form at St James' Park as their last win there was nearly a decade ago.

Tim Sherwood
Everton will be hoping to get back to winning ways as they face an in-form Crystal Palace. Whilst the Toffees lost away to Spurs at the weekend, Palace beat West Brom to record their third win in four games.
Such has been Palace's run of form, a victory against Everton could feasibly take them to 10th in the table.
Swansea and Stoke sit 12th and 14th respectively, but with the bottom of the Premier League as congested as it is - both are within touching distance of the bottom three - their clash at the Britannia Stadium is a very important one.
