John Cena won Raw's main event - and made it back-to-back Monday losses for Randy Orton.
Orton
was vanquished by Daniel Bryan in Omaha last week and succumbed to
another of his Elimination Chamber opponents in Los Angeles courtesy of
Cena's leg drop-Attitude Adjustment combination. The result handed Cena his first win over The Viper for some time and raised further doubts about Orton's ability to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship during the impending metal madness.
Christian and Sheamus will join Orton, Cena and Bryan in the Elimination Chamber - but they teamed up to great effect in the City of Angels to conquer final Chamber combatant Antonio Cesaro and his Real Americans partner Jack Swagger.
Bryan, meanwhile, was given the evening off by The Authority following a stellar few days, which not only yielded a win over Orton but also a triumph against Cesaro on Friday Night Smackdown.
However, the submission specialist did not slink off quietly and when WWE's Director of Operations Kane tried to apologise for his recent attacks on him, Bryan rushed to the ring and flattened the Devil's Favourite Demon with a knee-based onslaught.
Crashing
Alberto Del Rio and Batista will square off in a singles match at Elimination Chamber and Mexico's Greatest Export was shown how formidable a foe the Animal will be on Raw.Del Rio polished off the effervescent Dolph Ziggler with a venomous kick to the head and then dished out some post-bout punishment through his patented Cross Armbreaker - before Batista emerged to send the Essence of Excellence crashing through the announce desk.
Minneapolis will also play host to a blistering brawl between The Wyatt Family and The Shield in just under two weeks' time and both factions stared each other down in California.
WWE RAW
1am, Mon (Tue) Sky SportsAmbrose's cohorts Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns enjoyed a 148-day reign with the WWE Tag Team Titles last summer but the current champions are the New Age Outlaws and the veteran pairing may have caught a glimpse of their next challengers on Raw.
Road Dogg and Billy Gunn have seemingly seen off the threat of Rhodes and Goldust but look set for a collision course with The Usos who bested ex-Paul Heyman guys Ryback and Curtis Axel.
Plus, the twinkle-toed Fandango outwitted Santino Marella, while Cameron and The Bella Twins dished out a defeat to Divas Champion AJ Lee, Aksana and Alicia Fox.
