NBA: Kyle Korver sets three-point record; Portland Trail Blazers win yet again

Kyle Korver created NBA history, hitting a three-pointer for the 90th straight game, to help the Atlanta Hawks record a 108-89 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
  Korver didn't wait too long to set the record, sinking one from beyond the arc in the first quarter to beat Dana Barros' mark of 89 games which was set back in 1996.
He finished with 10 points in all, one of seven Atlanta players to make double figures, but it was Al Horford who led the way for the Hawks with 22. Cleveland's Dion Waters led all scorers with 30 in a losing cause.
  Wesley Matthews scored 24 points and the Portland Trail Blazers sunk a team-record 17 three-pointers on their way to a 130-98 win over the struggling Utah Jazz.
  Damian Lillard added 21 points while LaMarcus Aldridge had 20 points and 15 rebounds as he Trail Blazers recorded their 15th victory in 16 games.
  James Harden poured in 34 points and Dwight Howard had 22 points and 18 rebounds to lift the Houston Rockets to a 105-83 victory over the Golden State Warriors.
  Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined for 54 points to help the Oklahoma City Thunder see off the New Orleans Pelicans 109-95.
  Durant scored 29 and Westbrook added 25 as the Thunder overcame New Orleans for the ninth time in succession.
  The New York Knicks ended their six-game home losing streak, knocking off the Orlando Magic 121-83, while the Phoenix Suns were 106-97 winners over the Toronto Raptors.
  Khris Middleton's 29 points helped the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Washington Wizards 109-105 in overtime and there was success for the Boston Celtics too, as they overcame the Denver Nuggets 106-98.
  Forward Jeffery Taylor matched a career high with 20 points in the Charlotte Bobcats' 105-88 triumph over the Philadelphia 76ers, who have now lost nine of their last 11 games.
Ahead of Kobe Bryant's comeback from injury on Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers saw off the Sacramento Kings 106-100. The win means the 10-9 Lakers will have a winning record when their star returns to the court.
