NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins wrap up Metropolitan Division, while Columbus Blue Jackets earn historic win

Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky starred with 37 saves as the Columbus Blue Jackets earned their first victory in Philadelphia, moving a step closer to securing their second-ever play-off berth in the process.
The former Flyer registered a fourth shutout of the season, while James Wisniewski and Brandon Dubinsky netted to give the Blue Jackets a first win at the Wells Fargo Center since the franchise’s inception in 2000.
Nazem Kadri netted an overtime winner as the Toronto Maple Leafs edged their way to a 4-3 win over the Boston Bruins.
The Maple Leafs entered the third period with a 3-1 lead, courtesy of goals from Paul Ranger, Tyler Bozak and James van Riemsdyk.
Milan Lucic and Patrice Bergeron added to Brad Marchand’s first period strike to draw the Bruins level, only for Kadri to seal victory for the Maples Leafs in overtime.

Record

The Pittsburgh Penguins celebrated clinching the Metropolitan Division title – handed to them before full time thanks to Philadelphia’s loss earlier in the evening – with a 4-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets.
Paul Martin returned from an 18-game absence and netted for the Penguins, who knocked the Jets out of play-off contention.
Marian Hossa scored the lone shootout goal to hand the Chicago Blackhawks a 3-2 win over Minnesota Wild.
Colorado Avalanche also claimed a 3-2 shootout victory against the New York Rangers, while the St Louis Blues registered a franchise-record 52nd victory with a 2-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres.
Calgary Flames scored two goals in 15 seconds during the first period as they raced to a 4-1 win against the Lightning in Tampa Bay.
Meanwhile, Dallas Stars' pursuit of a play-off berth was stunted with a 4-1 reverse at the hands of the Carolina Hurricanes.
