Blake Griffin made his 25th birthday one to
remember as his big day helped the Los Angeles Clippers see off the
Cleveland Cavaliers for their 11th straight win.
Griffin
finished two assists shy of a triple-double as he contributed 21
points, 11 rebounds and eight dishes. Chris Paul added 16 points and 15
assists, while Luol Deng led the Cavaliers with 23 points.Manu Ginobili helped San Antonio extend their winning run to 10 games as his 21 points lifted the Spurs to a 122-104 win over the Utah Jazz. Tony Parker backed Ginobili with 18 points as the Spurs got their 50th win of the season, the first team in the league to do so.
Stephen Curry poured in 38 points as the Golden State Warriors rallied from 18 points down to beat the Portland Trail Blazers 113-112. Klay Thompson scored the winning three-pointer with 11 seconds left to play.
Anthony Davis had 40 points and 21 rebounds in the New Orleans Pelicans' 121-120 win over the Boston Celtic. Davis' career-best haul was the first of 40 points or more by a New Orleans player in four years.
Ray Allen led Miami with 25 points as the slumping Heat claimed a welcome 113-104 win over the Houston Rockets.
Kemba Walker's 21 points helped the Charlotte Bobcats claimed their fourth win in a row as they saw off the Milwaukee Bucks 101-92.
There were also wins for the Dallas Mavericks, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Phoenix Suns.
