Elite League Ice Hockey review: No stopping Belfast Giants

Runaway leaders Belfast Giants extended their winning run to 17 games courtesy of a 4-1 victory at Coventry Blaze on Sunday night.
The damage was done in the first period, Adam Keefe and Kevin Saurette putting the Northern Irish side 3-1 up after Evan Cheverie's opener was cancelled out by Mike Egener. Dustin Whitecotton made it four in the third period.
Belfast's nearest pursuers the Sheffield Steelers also won, as did the Dundee Stars to pull ahead of the Nottingham Panthers and Braehead Clan.
Jason Hewitt scored twice as Sheffield beat the Cardiff Devils 6-2 despite Max Birbraer's double, while Lubomir Vaskovic hit two in Dundee's win over the Panthers.
Braehead lost 2-0 to Edinburgh, Curtis Leinweber with both goals.
