Kane and Randy Orton have never been the best of friends.
The
Big Red Monster and The Viper have fought multiple times over the years
and even battled each other on the grandest stage of all, WrestleMania,
when the showpiece event hit Miami in 2012.WRESTLEMANIA XXX

Kane had initially headed to the ring in order to remove The Wyatt Family, who had somehow entered the monstrous metal structure when the lights cut out to batter John Cena and allow Orton to pin the West Newbury native.
Bryan - who used to team with the Devil's Favourite Demon but is now his sworn enemy - decided this was a perfect opportunity to flatten his former partner with a flying knee, a move he would live to regret.
The submission specialist seemingly had Orton beaten when a slightly-less-groggy Kane clobbered him with a shot to the face and The Apex Predator capitalised, flooring his foe with an RKO and sealing his berth in the 'Mania main event.
The chaos at the end of the Chamber match was in keeping with the rest of the duel, however, as Orton, Bryan, Cena, Christian, Sheamus and Cesaro engaged in a brutal brawl in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Highlights included Sheamus Brogue Kicking Orton THROUGH one of the pods, Cesaro sending Bryan thundering INTO one of the pods, and Christian leaping OFF one of the pods to frog splash Sheamus and, ultimately, pin him.
But the result left more questions than answers, such as why did the Wyatt Family ambush Cena for the second Sunday-night show running, and what will transpire when Orton and Batista go toe-to-toe in New Orleans on April 6?

Divas Champion AJ Lee maintained her strap, too - but only after accruing a disqualification loss to Cameron when her henchwoman Tamina interfered - while Goldust and Cody Rhodes returned to winning ways by vanquishing Ryback and Curtis Axel on the Elimination Chamber pre-show.
However, perhaps the most memorable match of the night was the hotly-anticipated slobberknocker between Cena's tormentors The Wyatt Family and The Shield.
The Minneapolis crowd, who cheered for both factions, were treated to a classic, with Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns showcasing their array of skills.
But the contest hinged on a crazy few moments in which Rollins was chucked through the announce desk by Harper and Rowan and Ambrose was left somewhere amongst the fans after a scrap with Wyatt.
Rollins and Ambrose's plight left Reigns to fend off the three backwoods brawlers alone and while the former gridiron star battled valiantly, he was eventually quelled by Wyatt's Sister Abigail manoeuvre.
