Mike Smith's miserly display helps Phoenix claim victory over Chicago

Phoenix Coyotes became the first team to shut out Chicago this season after Radim Vrbata sealed a 2-0 win over the Blackhawks.
Keith Yandle opened the scoring against Chicago and Mike Smith stopped 29 shots for Phoenix, who produced an impressive response after the disappointing loss to Dallas.
Yandle found the net after just 69 seconds and then had an assist as Vrbata added a crucial second goal late in the second period.
The Blackhawks tried to stage a fightback in the third period, but Smith kept them at Bay with a string of saves.
Elsewhere, Brad Richards and Mats Zuccarello scored in a shootout as the New York Rangers claimed a 4-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Benoit Pouliot bagged a double in regulation and Dan Girardi also scored for New York.
