NBA: Nets edge out clippers

The Brooklyn Nets overcame a slow start to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 102-93 in their best performance since a win over the Miami Heat on November 1.
The Nets (8-14) showed their powers of recovery to convincingly defeat the Clippers (15-9) at the Barclays Center.
Andray Blatche (21 points, nine rebounds) led the turnaround and Deron Williams came into the game in a 36-point second quarter. Joe Johnson hit back from a quiet game on Tuesday to score 21 points.
The Clippers looked sluggish on the second night of a back-to-back after earning a victory for coach Doc Rivers on his emotional return to Boston. Chris Paul paced them with 20, but only handed out two assists.
The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Houston Rockets 111-104.
