NBA: Doc Rivers leads LA Clippers to victory over former side Boston Celtics

Former Celtics coach Doc Rivers won his first game back in Boston as the Los Angeles Clippers registered a 96-88 victory.

 Jamal Crawford, who finished with 21 points, came off the bench and hit a pair of three-pointers 23 seconds apart to help the Clippers pull away late, while Chris Paul had 22 points, nine assists and seven rebounds.
Jeff Green scored 29 points against his former coach, while Jordan Crawford had 20 points and nine assists.
 The New York Knicks blew a 23-point lead but still had enough to beat the Chicago Bulls 83-78 with Carmelo Anthony netting 30 points and 10 rebounds.
 The Minnesota Timberwolves rallied from a 19-point deficit to defeat the Philadelphia 76ers 106-99, Kevin Love returning 26 points, 15 rebounds and five assists.

Recovering

 Russell Westbrook scored 27 points and Kevin Durant added 18 to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 116-100 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
 The New Orleans Pelicans edged past the Detroit Pistons 111-106 with Ryan Anderson recovering from a poor shooting night from long range to hit two clutch three-pointers in overtime.
 The San Antonio Spurs routed the Milwaukee Bucks 109-77 with 21 points and 16 rebounds from Tim Duncan who played just 24 minutes, Tony Parker adding 15 points.
 The Orlando Magic snapped a six-game losing run by beating the Charlotte Bobcats 92-83, Jameer Nelson scoring 12 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter.
 The Utah Jazz beat the Sacramento Kings 122-101 and the Golden State Warriors defeated the Dallas Mavericks 95-93.
