The Gunners, top of the Premier League, beat their local rivals 1-0 earlier this season, but face a tough test if they are to progress in the cup as Andre Villas-Boas’ side look to have turned a corner of late.
In other all-Premier League ties, Norwich host Fulham, Swansea travel to Manchester United and Newcastle United play Cardiff City.
Chelsea travel to in-form Championship side Derby, Manchester City are away to Blackburn Rovers and Liverpool will play either Oldham or Mansfield, having faced both teams in last season's competition.
Meanwhile, holders Wigan Athletic have a home game against Milton Keynes Dons.
